Me Is Mine, You Is Yours

I just nicked this from the mighty  Dick Puddlecote

I have no idea how I missed it first time around. I must have been abroad.

It is a great tune, and fits libertarianism perfectly, not to mention my own Freeman tendencies.

Don't shout at me if you end up singing it all weekend. Blame Puddlecote!

Enjoy.

Great, ain't it? So simple yet so true.

I wanted to put it as a permanent sidebar on mine but the template doesn't allow it.

I'm in the market for bunging about a ton at someone for help in getting a unique one by the way (maybe more if it's damn good).

Completely off topic but thought you might be interested in the fact that hundreds of protesters at Copenhagen were held in cages last night. (I don't agree with the protesters btw as I think they are misguided, but I don't think legitimate protesters should be "caged" either.)

I heard about this on BBC News 24 last night but there is no follow up in the MSM today (no surprise there):

http://anarchofemme.wordpress.com/2009/12/13/100000-protest-at-copenhagen-police-respond-with-terror-tactics/

"Approximately 200-350 people were held on the road in extremely cold weather, cuffed and forced into seated positions in lines for between 3 and 5 hours."

"Henrik Suhr from Copenhagen police publicly admitted that protesters (both from the 900 pre-emptively arrested and from those arrested later) were being detained in “some sort of cages”, with conditions described by protesters as “just less than horrific”. Cages were reportedly overcrowded, with police handcuffing people to benches in the corridor because of lack of space."

Henrik Suhr did admit on BBC News 24 that people were being held in cages but of course the reporter didn't bother to follow up on this, acting as if it was ok to do this to people.

Below is a piece in the NY Times on the cages themselves.

It won't be long before some bright spark in our Government thinks these tactics are a good idea and will seek to implement them here :(

Snakey,

Thanks for the link.

They see us as vermin to be controlled. I believe I am out of the cage but I still have some work to do before I am out of the lab.

Not much shocks me anymore and I fear that I am losing my humanity. I need to de-programme myself.

Dark times. Dark times indeed.
