Policing In The 21st Century

I sleep better at nights having watched this fascinating documentary. Knowing this man is keeping the baddies at bay "...from dirty bombs to overdue library books..." helps enormously.

And he is quite funny at times.

I hope he passes his test this year and gets to be a real policeman.

No, really.

Who else reading this blog knows that riding a bicycle without a bell in he UK is an "offence" which can be punished by a fine of £2,500 and two years jail. Since a few years back??

WTF?!

So many new statue laws they try and force upon us. One could consider it a full time job just to try and keep up with their new statue laws, in order to know if what you do/have/use etc... is "legal" in their law system.

Cap R I will continue to read your postings with interest as it is good you are educating us, since the UK education system is now so dumbed down and really, in my view, just an indoctrination system for subjugation and control.

Wonder when they will ban home schooling. Give them your kids and they have them. Just like a previous youth group in another country in the last century.

The UK needs a hell of a lot more Capt Rs.

Hitler Jugend, Young Pioneers, Khmer Rouge, Red Guard... Aye the pinnacle of human achievement.

Thanks to New Labour, we now have over 8,500 new ways to break the 'law'. And remember folks, 'Ignorance of the law is no defence.'

Come to the UK, where you can break the law in your sleep!

Well said dear bishop.

"Too many laws have created a climate of fear, bishop warns"

21 Mar 2010

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/religion/7493879/Too-many-laws-have-created-a-climate-of-fear-bishop-warns.html

Rt Rev Peter Price, Bishop of Bath and Wells, said that many well meaning laws were destroying society and that while individual rights had increased, equivalent responsibility has decreased.

Speaking on Sunday to the annual legal service in Wells Cathedral, Somerset, the bishop said the General Election would be held at the end of one of the most legislative parliaments in history, in which about 4,000 new laws had entered the statute book.

It can be argued that the cause of much of this legislation is as a result of the loss of community, the perceived breakdown of family life, and the decline of a sense of individual responsibility,” he said.

“The effect of many of these new laws is to place responsibility for cleaning up the mess of society upon educationalists, doctors and health workers, social services, the police and other institutions and structure.

The Wizard Of Oz

Many fellow UK slaves will be programmed by the current BBC "talent show" Over The Rainbow.

Fact is, the chief wizard of UK (Gordon Brown) is no real wizard and who wants to follow his yellow brick road??? Certainly it isn't made of gold because he sold it all years back.

In his land of UK Oz, Dorothy would be fined and imprisoned for (a) killing a witch and stealing her shoes (b) the lion, scarecrow and tin man would be locked up since they were not CRB checked and so shouldn't have accompanied Dorothy on the yellow brick road.
(c) the tin man would have added time in jail for being in possession of an axe.
(d) the lion was not in a zoo and so would be shot dead on site.
(e) the scarecrow would be Tasered and so would have caught fire and be burnt

etc...

Get over yourselves. It is a nice piss take on PCSOs. Very funny and if he was real he'd actually be very good except if he came up against any world conspiracy theorist tossers like you lot.

Captain Ranty said...

I take it you're a PCSO then Ian....

No conspiracies here. Look elsewhere.

Not at all. I can't stand the idea of them. I'm sick of seeing them wandering around in 3s and 4s at £21K a pop doing WHAT? This bloke is clearly doing this for a laugh, he isn't a real one and all I said was that he'd be great if he was. All your other comments were the usual rubbish with one ranting on about the Hitler Youth et al. SOmetimes it is just nice to see something amusing. I've citculated it around with a link to your blog which is always good for a read.
