Cool! We STILL Own Ireland!!

I am sure the Irish will be overjoyed.

Although I haven't yet listened to it all, the bombshell arrives at around the 1 minute mark.

The show comes to us from TNSRadio and you can listen to it here.

Do let me know what you think.

Especially if you are Irish.

I do not have time to listen right now Captain but in short could you explain just how this can be, meaning for just what the claim is?

They are in receivership. Do we want it?

A & TA,

The Crown.

Not "we" in the traditional sense.

The Crown is the City of London, natch.

It is, always has been, and always will be about money.

Perhaps the fabulously wealthy independent state known as the City of London can be made responsible for Ireland's debts?

Woodsy,

They have some lovely countryside.

PLUS, they know how to make good ale, and they know how to partay!

So why not? Let's get over there and have some fun...

Christopher,

Ireland "allegedly" gained their independence just over 100 years ago.

Trouble is, this podcast tells us that they (the newly "independent" Ireland), swore allegiance to the Crown.

Much like the USA did in 1776.

We are still one big happy family!

"We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when
Although I wasn't there, he said I was his friend
Which came as some surprise I spoke into his eyes
I thought you died alone, a long long time ago

Oh no, not me
I never lost control
You're face to face
With The Man Who Sold The World"

It seems that it is true, that everything is hidden in plain view.

(* Do that in a Caribbean accent. It works remarkably well).

Who is/was the author?

This is indeed fantastic news.

It means that my pipe tobacco will cost half what I'm paying now. It means a better health service [yes - I'm serious]. And best of all, you lot will have to pay the debts that we didn't run up.

May God Bless Her Queenness.

[p.s. does this mean I have to watch that wedding thing?]

First part of "The Man Who Sold The World" by David Bowie.

Is David Bowie to blame for the credit crunch?

Her Queeness is a mere citizen like you and I.

If you want to watch two commoners jumping the broomstick, knock yerself out!

I'll be sticking pins in kittens eyes as a more enjoyable activity. And I LIKE kittens.

"Is David Bowie to blame for the credit crunch?"

I say yes. Yes he is. we have tried blaming everyone/everything else so why not pin it on The Thin White Duke?
