In my humble opinion you need to forget the stats. It really doesn't matter how many read what you write, you should be writing for yourself first and foremost.
The most page views I've ever had was 27 and I only know that because it's there in front of me when I log in. I wouldn't dream of going and looking for any stats as I don't care.
You don't need to write every day (or every week) either. Only when it suits you is the best policy.
So write when the urge takes, get it out of your system and take pleasure in the fact that, for the time being, you can still do it.
