You Tell 'Em, Nige!

Nigel doing what he does best.

Explaining the Stupid Theory to idiots who have no idea what harm they are causing.

Greece will revolt. Her people are in unbearable pain and revolution would seem to be their only option now.

The mismanagement is monstrous.

Take control, default on those horrendous loans, return to the drachma, restore normality.

See you on the other side.

You can do this.

  4. I read in the media that according to polls, something like 60% of Greeks want to retain the Euro.

My own "poll" however, would indicate that 90% feel that joining the Euro was a disaster from the outset, and the sooner we get the Drachma back the better.

I've been asking for the last few months just about everyone I meet, in conversation, what they think. All sorts of people. The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker. The plumber, the plasterer, the electrician. The accountant, the lawyer, the civil engineer. Almost without exception, the answer is the same. Greece will be better off out of the Eurozone.

So I'm not sure who the pollsters are asking, but I don't think they live round this way.

The Greek people do not suffer the yoke of oppression lightly.(Indeed, some areas of Greece resisted the might of the Ottoman Empire for 400 odd years.) They have a strong sense of patriotism and a pride in their history. They do not view the "Troika" favourably.

If things carry on like this for much longer, I can see there being a run on piano wire.

  5. He's right. The Greeks should have defaulted months ago and returned to the drachma. Revolution is on its way. I expect a few colonels will do the job.

  6. Well chaps, it looks like the EU will "allow" Greece to leave the eurozone.

Watch them blossom now. They are (almost) out of their economical gaol. They just need a release date.

  7. "looks like the EU will "allow" Greece to leave the eurozone."

Indeed, they have been letting them store up lots of debts and obligations first of course, that much better to screw them after the return to the drachma.

  8. Hi Captn,

The Talking Clock are reporting that the rest of Europe are planning mass protest on Saturday.

"Greek Solidarity: Europe-wide 'We're All Greek Now!' demos being planned for Saturday"

Funny how our propaganda peddlers kept the Greek uprising off our screens and papers? Waste of time if enough people cotton on.... (not holding my breath though but I do have a day off Saturday just in case)

I'm also going to start selling piano wire if anyone's interested? ;0)

  10. Anon,

I think once Greece goes, it opens the door for all of those EZ members that are performing badly.

No news on Dave. I am keeping an eye out and will report when I get something solid.

I'll do a blogpost on my actions so far.

  11. According to this post at The Slog, Barclays Capital and another bank on Wall St have had documents, since the beginning of the year, detailing the timetable for the Greek default after close of business on 23 March 2012.

  12. Rossa,

    Thanks for the link.

I have spent some time this morning looking at comments by various EU members and it looks like this has all been engineered for some time.

Their language has changed from "We must save Greece" to "They will have to go".

    Remarkable.

One can only hope that they grow to dislike us sometime soon. This is one club I will not mind being ejected from.

  13. Thanks for the update on things Captain. I am interested as I think there is much more to come from you and other people pursuing the "Freeman" line. I really hope you are successful.

Do you have a link to the guy in the cars site please? He was incredibly brave. I wish I had as much courage, I really do.

Take care and more power to you and your fellow freemen.

  14. TT,

    Thanks for the kind words.

I just looked. Dave does not appear to have a blog or website anywhere. I'll see if I can track him down and get an update.
