Here there be rants. There will be Freeman stuff, Lawful Rebellion stuff and Random stuff. I am rebelling because I want my country back. My lawful obligations are as follows: “together with the community of the whole realm, distrain and distress us in all possible ways, namely, by seizing our castles, lands, possessions, and in any other way they can, until redress has been obtained as they see fit…”

Wherever You Are

*Except to say that I nicked this from Filthy and he nicked it from Rosie.
As a 'failed' musician, this song is on par with Elton John's 'Candle In The Wind'. The composition isn't easy to sing and requires much practice - even from professionals.
Few of these women would profess to be singers at all yet Gareth was able to bring out the best in them.
Surely a much better sound than teenagers who mimic today's songs.
These women and many more like them are sending a message to the ones they love to come home safe. This is my wish for them too.
The reason they are 'wherever' they are is down to the whole british population. We are so ignorant and so ill-informed that when the government say we need to send troops to 'wherever' we just accept it. Our troops are sent to kill: We are at the moment not in any peace keeping theatres, and the reasons given for them being there has not been contested. The troops do a job and as such do as they are told, unfortunately this includes, as is evident, killing innocents; under the guise of collateral damage.
I ask this if that collateral damage was your son or daughter would you accept it so willingly.
Thought not.
It is time we questioned every policy this government makes on our behalf and it is time to stop them from alienating britain from the rest of the world. I admire these women, not just the ones in the choir but all troop wives and husbands but it is time to put an end to conflict that promotes corporate profit. The life of a soldier, sailor, airman can not and should never be traded for the sake of any commodity.
I would rather we trade politicians lives, they have shown themselves to be worthy of the trade and I for one would not support the politicians wives or husbands if they were to sing about missing their spouses on a foreign shore.
My husband protects corporate interests overseas. This whole "heroes" bullshit really sticks in my throat. These women should have been singing about bringing their loved ones home. Our language is being changed and the word hero seems to have replaced victim. These bozo's off to shoot some brown people are just deplorable.
