  2. This comes as no surprise to me at all. I read "Spychips" by Albrecht & McIntyre some years ago and they quite accurately predicted this scenario around 2005. I always have to stop myself and say, "just because we humans CAN make things, doesn't mean we should". Universities across the world are getting funding to do R&D on some pretty terrifying stuff. Where's the ethical oversight here? Just like the courts, educational establishments are totally in the grip of the corporate world, not to mention those fuckers at Common Purpose.
And like the law, ignorance is no defence. People should understand what they are putting into their bodies, regardless of what the doctor says.

  3. btw, there is one scientific endeavour I would welcome...

The isolation of the gene responsible for empathy, and it's subsequent propagation amongst those lacking it.

I welcome any subsersive methods of employing this goal.

  4. I've not been to a GP for over 4 years as they are nothing more than a rep for Big Pharma.

Great Book: "Side Effects: Death - Confessions of a Pharma-Insider," by John Virapen

Incredible memo featured in this movie shows that the FDA conspired with Lilly to hide medical tests that showed that Prozac caused suicidaility.

Another great book - a must read...
