An End To Fractional Reserve Banking?

Probably not.

We will have to wait until the whole thing implodes. As it must.

In the meantime, we have a rare thing to show you. An MP with cojones.

Good for you Douglas! Keep at 'em!

You may well have questions. If so, go here to read the Hansard text, and to follow a discussion on this stunning suggestion by this brave MP.

Tip of ye olde beret to LostAtSea for sending me the link.

  1. Douglas is one of the few good guys in parliament, but then he does have a pretty good constituency!

  5. That link fro Edo is, as you say, very bizarre.

Who the fuck has got that much money, enough to buy the sixth (is it) wealthiest country in the world???

And what are they gonna do with it (us) when they've bought it????

I don't suppose there's any chance of the Carswell bill being passed is there?

  6. FB,

    Its fucking outrageous!

What will the pope say? He owns us lock, stock and barrel. Have these numpties run the plan by his bean-counters?

The Bill gets its second reading in two weeks or so. We will know more then. I hope it does get through. (And this from a man who has an intense distaste for statutes).

Yes he is my MP. I've met him a couple of times and, whilst nobody is perfect, Carswell is a pretty good bloke.

I hope that his bill proceeds.
