Here there be rants. There will be Freeman stuff, Lawful Rebellion stuff and Random stuff. I am rebelling because I want my country back. My lawful obligations are as follows: “together with the community of the whole realm, distrain and distress us in all possible ways, namely, by seizing our castles, lands, possessions, and in any other way they can, until redress has been obtained as they see fit…”
Article 61 Magna Carta 1215
For so many people born to an existence devoid of ability and capability for intelligent behaviour this world is OK. It's we poor schmucks with a modicum of interpretative thought but little power over the masses at one end and the Bilderbergers the other, that are squeezed. It's no coincidence that Stalin, Pol Pot et al murdered the intelligentsia first!
Research tells us that educational standards have fallen to an all time low. I don't blame the teachers (well, not entirely) because they just teach what they are told to teach.
So the inevitable result is that we have what the government needs: new, but dumb cash cows entering service every year. They don't want a nation of Einsteins: they will organise the "brain pool" themselves. They just need tax fodder. The more the merrier.
In fact, Albert Einstein himself said "The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax."
And perhaps more germane to the point here, he also said:
"The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education."

ReplyDeleteAs usual, you are spot on.
