And So It Begins

Tip of the beret to our friends at ukwebspider  and Prison Planet.

Just days into the deployment of the most intrusive, and most useless, body scanning device at airports, and already a story has broken concerning a film star.

Shah Rukh, pictured, entered the full body scanner as directed at Heathrow airport and then discovered that the security mongs had printed off images of him and were handing them around to their colleagues.

Remember this?

"UK Transport Secretary Lord Adonis said last week that the images produced by the scanners were deleted “immediately” and airport staff carrying out the procedure are fully trained and supervised.

“It is very important to stress that the images which are captured by body scanners are immediately deleted after the passenger has gone through the body scanner” said Adonis"

Fucking marvellous.

  1. Right, so let me get it straight, you know, just for my own mind....

I am not allowed to take photos of my kids, at school nativity plays, or at their soccer matches, or any other event, I can't take photos of buildings or public spaces....

.... but I can have my photo taken by these arseholes, whilst having my DNA wankered by the radiation, then have it pilfered and used whenever, wherever?

Right. Fuck flying then. Want to make a difference, I suggest you do the same should you be told to go get your picture taken...

How long would BA, or easyjet tolerate this, if we all unpacked our suitcases and said, stuff it. "You want us to fly? Get shot of these fucking useless contraptions."

It's in our own hands.... revolution doesn't have to be hard.

  2. And secondly, as you've posted a video of the shellsuited nutbag, I'd like to pass on a useful piece of advice I learnt from said, nutbag....

... whenever one of these lying shits opens their gobs, to say anything, assume the opposite is the truth and you're probably on the right path...

.... and I think this little new item backs that up pretty nicely.

"Yeah, of course, they're deleted right away!"

Like shit they are. They never were going to be.

See, it's not always about "lizards"...

    Pip, pip. Rant over.

  3. Labour have been using game theory for so long that they truly believe people will act like a pre-programmed machine.

Socialism has always been an ideology which refuses to take human nature into account when making policy.

Of course people will do things like this, of course people will lose data, of course people will go too far when given powers like RIPA.

Labour are away with the fairies for believing differently. As is anyone who still intends to vote for them.

  4. There wont be a Revolution until a Government act directly affects one of the following.

    Coronation Street
    The X Factor
    Britains Got Talent

A nation gets the Government it deserves.

  5. CSR, I wish that weren't so, but sadly you're probably right.

Sure there will be the usual shit in response - one bad egg, lessons learned etc.

Someone said on another blog, Labour see the intricate workings of society as a big machine to poke and prod to trigger the desired results. Of course someone was going to leak a picture of a celeb.

Off to read about game theory now...

  6. Has anyone confirmed this story yet ?
I've never believed anything that I've heard on a tv show. Especially one on Al Ja Beeba.

  7. probably bollox, BAA were denying it but since their idea of a flight schedule is a fucking work of fiction I wouldn't read too much into that. It's a definite maybe.

  8. angry exile...

I followed all the links and got to the original story and it was a jokey remark on the BBC Wossy show. But it might be true.
I'm too cynical these days I suppose and no longer believe anything I read until I've had 3 or 4 confirmations.

  9. Never, ever, ever, ever believe a single thing these people say.

Their promises are not worth a candle in a hurricane.

  10. This was always open to abuse. They're trying to make flying unpalatable any more.
